A man suffered multiple punctured organs when he was stabbed in a Harlem deli, police said Sunday.
The 57-year-old victim was inside Joe’s G-H Deli on Broadway in Morningside Heights around 4 a.m. Saturday when a stranger approached him and started arguing with him, police said.
The suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times –– puncturing his lung, his diaphragm, and even slicing his pancreas, police sources said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai/St. Luke’s Hospital in serious but stable condition and is expected to survive, according to police.
