Victoria’s real secret is out: The brand’s former models are a fashion nightmare.
A gaggle of mannequins — all of whom walked for the lingerie brand’s now-defunct runway show — showed up to the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party looking like they got dressed in the dark.
Adriana Lima, 38, wore a confusing cream gown with a thigh-high slit and a beaded panel that showed off half of her taut torso. Then she turned around to reveal a sheer, beaded panel exposing the middle of her derrière, too.
Winnie Harlow went the opposite direction: The 25-year-old’s white dress was a hodgepodge of voluminous panels that looked like attic-dwelling Miss Havisham of “Great Expectations” attending an ’80s prom.
Candice Swanepoel opted for an ill-conceived one-shouldered gown-hot pants hybrid by Zuhair Murad couture. The icy blue number showed off the 31-year-old’s impeccable gams as well as her questionable taste.
But the topless icing on the cake was Joan Smalls, who threw caution — and her shirt — to the wind.
The 31-year-old sported a ruched, mermaid-hued Schiaparelli skirt that stopped just below her bosom, then added a pair of sparkly pasties up top.
These ladies may have been runway angels, but they make the red carpet far from heavenly.
