‘The Bachelor’ recap: Who went home during this week’s mass exodus?

At the start of Monday’s melodramatic episode of “The Bachelor,” 16 women were competing for Peter Weber’s heart. At the end of Wednesday night, only six women were left.

That’s right. After five hours of fighting about champagne, emotional stability and being there for the “right reasons,” the show has finally whittled down its cast of wannabe influencers to a core group. It seems that all the troublemakers — except for possible “White Lives Matter” model Victoria F. and I’ve-been-falling-in-love-with-Peter-since-day-one Kelsey — have finally exited, and we can expect smooth sailing from here. Except we can’t, because it’s “The Bachelor.”

This week’s double-duty episodes saw Peter and his ladies head to Costa Rica and then Chile, where the drama from Ohio followed them down south. After giving Alayah, who had been let go and then returned, a rose, Peter asked her to leave, ending that unnecessary storyline and the incessant yelling among the women. All was calm. But wait! Tammy accused Kelsey, who has cried on every episode, of being emotionally unstable and drinking too much. Which made her upset and teary-eyed. Prophecy became self-fulfilling.

Peter kept both women because he loves being fought over.

The 10 women who survived Monday then traveled to Chile for dates of horseback riding and the re-enacting of telenovelas. Romance! Tammy, ever the fan of stirring the pot, went after Mykenna for packing her bags before a group date and thinking about heading home without a ring from Peter. Was she not committed to “the process?”

Peter sent both ladies home, along with Sydney and Victoria P.

That means only Kelley, Kelsey, Hannah Ann, Madison, Natasha and Victoria F. are left.
