Minnesota vs. Wisconsin prediction, line: Take the favorite

The Big Ten has had some crazy splits this season with home teams winning nearly 80 percent of games straight up. Wisconsin does a great job of highlighting how different teams in the conference are playing at home compared to on the road.

Though the Badgers have defeated Penn State and Ohio State on the road this season, their 3-point shooting percentages are stark. At home, Wisconsin is 27th in that statistic, on the road 336th.

The Badgers also are missing guard Kobe King, who left the program last week. And Brad Davison, a native of Minnesota, likely will have a lot of boos coming at him after he was suspended for the team’s game against Michigan State.

Wisconsin also figures to have a tough time dealing with Minnesota’s Daniel Oturu, who is averaging 19.7 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.

With Oturu grabbing more boards per game than Wisconsin’s top two rebounders combined, it figures to be a long night for a Badgers bunch that has not been able to hit outside shots away from the Kohl Center.

The play: Minnesota, -3.
