Brooklyn woman stabbed several times in possible domestic fight: cops

A Brooklyn woman is clinging to life after a brutal stabbing left an apartment building covered in blood, police said Friday.

The woman was slashed several times in the neck and chest during a possible domestic fight in a brownstone at 347 Hancock St., near Throop Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, at about 4:15 p.m., cops said. She was rushed to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.

A pool of blood was still sitting on one of the top steps leading to the brownstone Friday night, with another splotch of blood smeared across the apartment’s front door.

Neighbors said they believed the woman was attacked by her boyfriend, who lives in the building. One resident said she called the cops after witnessing the bloodbath unfold.

”It was just crazy. I never seen so much blood. He peeled half her face off — right through the neck,” said the tenant, 62, who declined to give her name.

The witness said the victim begged her for help in her underwear after she fell down the building’s stairs during the attack.

“She hugged me, grabbed me to help,” she said. “I, uh, I call the cops. You know, I did the best I could. I didn’t know if this guy was gonna come after me.”

Police took a 65-year-old man into custody at the scene and recovered three knives.

The NYPD has not disclosed the relationship between the two, but cops are investigating if it was a possible domestic dispute, sources said.

“She was in pretty bad shape,” a law-enforcement source told The Post, who added the woman may die from her injuries.

Several residents said the couple could be heard fighting often. The witness described her partner as a “real f–king psycho.”

“The whole f–king building is covered in blood,” she said.
