Three snowplows caught fire outside a storage facility at John F. Kennedy Airport, police said Tuesday.
The fire started just before 10 p.m. Monday behind a storage facility on Bergen Road, according to the Port Authority Police Department.
The vehicles are owned by Cow Bay, a snow removal service and contractor for the airport, police said.
The fire was extinguished around 11:30 p.m., and there were no injuries or structural damage to the building, authorities said.
Cow Bay was not immediately available for comment.
Police are investigating the cause of the blaze.
