Fashion designer Lubov Azria — who founded BCBG Max Azria with her late husband Max — has re-listed their Miami penthouse for $5.9 million.
The penthouse is on Fisher Island, a 216-acre private island that (according to Bloomberg) boasts the country’s wealthiest ZIP code, 33109.
Lubov was chief creative officer for the company, which oversaw 20 brands, until 2016. She now helms La Boheme.
Tunisian-born Max passed away in May at age 70.
BCBG stands for the French phrase “bon chic bon genre,” a cheap-chic style that symbolized Max’s desire to “democratize” fashion and make it more affordable.
The Miami penthouse at 5363 Fisher Island Drive first went on the market in 2014 for $7 million. By 2017, it had been re-listed for $8.9 million.
The current price marks a 33 percent discount off its highest asking price. (The couple bought the property for $3.44 million in 2005.) At 5,790 square feet, it boasts four bedrooms, 4½ bathrooms, two terraces and views from the Atlantic Ocean to Downtown Miami.
It also features a chef’s kitchen and movie theater. The listing brokers are Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg, of Coldwell Banker.
