It’s a brand-new episode of “Big Apple Buckets” to close out 2019. Subscribe to the podcast wherever you get your pods. New episodes come out every Tuesday afternoon in 2020.

With Kazeem Famuyide away, I filled in for the final episode of the decade. The Knicks closed out the year on their second two-game win streak, both coming under interim head coach Mike Miller. The Knicks are now five games back of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. With just over a month until the trade deadline, the Knicks will most likely be making a few moves. Could Dennis Smith Jr. be one of the guys the Knicks trade?

But the focus of this episode was hearing from all the illustrious Knicks guests we have had on the show since we launched before the season began in late October.

On this “Big Apple Buckets” podcast in review episode, you can hear clips of interviews from all our guests so far:

Episode 1: Walt “Clyde” Frazier gave his preseason prediction for the best and worst case scenario for this team. Unfortunately, even his worst case scenario is looking impossible for them to reach.

Episode 2: Charles Oakley spoke about a dream scenario where he is back in Madison Square Garden, after he was infamously banned for a year and carried out of the arena.

Episode 3: Chris Childs broke down what was going through his head and what led to his fight with Kobe Bryant back in 2000 when the Knicks took on the Lakers.

Episode 4: Jamal Crawford spoke about his desire to play and how amazing it is that certain guys remain unsigned.

Episode 5: Charlie Ward told Kaz about the tenacity of his head coach Jeff Van Gundy as they remembered when he was hanging from Alonzo Mourning’s legs back in the Knicks-Heat playoff series in 1996.

Episode 6: Trent Tucker looked back at those Knicks-Bulls playoff series in the late ’80’s and early ’90’s and explains how close they came to taking down Michael Jordan, but how he was just too good.

Episode 7: Jerry Ferrara, aka “Turtle” from “Entourage,” told us about the various interactions he has with fans of his in the streets, ranging from guys that love him to guys that will talk trash with him.

Episode 8: Larry Brown joined the podcast to give advice to the next Knicks head coach and the organization to make things work. This was our emergency David Fizdale firing show.

Episode 9: Jalen Rose talked about James Dolan, Steve Mills, Knicks head coaches and the fan base not all being lined up correctly and what has caused the dysfunction in the organization.

The show closes with an epic rant from Kaz from Episode 7 on the state of the team. Crank up the volume!
