‘Shoplifter’ brawls with Barneys employees on Madison Avenue: video

Startling video shows a woman accused of shoplifting a $392 Moncler hat from Barneys throwing down with store employees in the middle of Madison Avenue.

The Nov. 18 brawl began around 11 a.m. after security spied the winter hat inside a shopping bag carried by the woman, who was about to leave the flagging department store without paying for it, cops said.

When confronted, she and a female accomplice bolted and the employee gave chase, police said and video shows.

The unidentified women are then tackled on the hood of a car and later slammed into the back of a van,  according to surveillance footage.

A pal then jumps into the fray, throwing haymakers at the man who was wrestling with the alleged thief, video shows.

The women also bit and scratched the employees, police said.

The two women fled in opposite directions on Madison Avenue, cops said.
