Two women helped restrain victim in Bronx gang rape: cops

A 36-year-old woman was gang-raped by two men in the Bronx while three others — including two women — held her down, The Post has learned.

The victim was dragged into one suspect’s second-floor apartment at 731 E. 214th St. around 12:30 a.m. Thursday and was allegedly raped by Alec Cepreo, 24, and Bakary Traore, 24, police and law enforcement sources said.

Cepreo and Traore raped the victim at knifepoint while Nicole Puga, 21, Kenya Cuevas, 24, and John Cuevas, 19, held her down, police and law enforcement sources said.

The rape occurred inside Kenya and John Cuevas’ apartment, law enforcement sources said.

The victim was eventually able to fight her way out of the apartment and was given her clothes and purse by a woman who was inside, sources said, although it is unclear if that person is also a suspect.

The woman’s cellphone was missing when her property was returned to her, the sources said.

Cepreo and Traore were arrested and have been charged with rape, robbery, conspiracy, criminal sex act and assault. John and Kenya Cuevas, along with Puga, have also been arrested and were all charged with attempted rape, robbery, conspiracy, criminal sex act and assault.
