Police radio captures chilling moments after NYPD cop Brian Mulkeen is shot

Police radio captured the dramatic moments after NYPD Officer Brian Mulkeen was fatally shot in the Bronx.

“Shots fired! Shots fired, guys!” one cop can be heard shouting to dispatch in the chaotic recording obtained by The Post.

“I need a bus! I need a bus … I need a bus immediately,” the officer shouts in reference to an ambulance.

That call was made after Mulkeen, 33, was struck outside the Edenwald Houses early Sunday as the hero cop found himself locked in a violent struggle with suspected gangbanger Antonio Lavance Williams.

“He’s reaching for it! He’s reaching for it!” Mulkeen is heard shouting on police body camera footage as other officers rush to Mulkeen’s aid.

Williams got his hand on Mulkeen’s gun as the two were wrestling, a high-ranking police source told The Post.

Mulkeen was shot three times and rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died.
