It appears Vontaze Burfict will never learn.
The Oakland Raiders linebacker, who has a history of dirty hits, was ejected from Sunday’s game after a blatant headshot on defenseless Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle.
Doyle was trying to regain his footing after making a catch, and Burfict — who is actually a team captain — lowered his head while charging toward Doyle and crushed him with a helmet-to-helmet hit.
Burfict’s ejection comes a week after he was throwing punches toward Vikings players during the end of a play.
The 29-year-old, who spent his first seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, has been fined or suspended 13 times and been fined about $4.12 million during his NFL career, according to For The Win.
