Cowboys vs. Saints prediction: Teddy Bridgewater will lift New Orleans

The Wildcat returns for his 23rd season in The Post. Including the 1997-2018 seasons in the Bettor’s Guide, Cat’s record in print stands at 615-520 (54.2 percent) against the spread.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (+2¹/₂) over Dallas Cowboys: No Drew Brees, but for sheer reliable effectiveness, we’ll happily settle for Teddy Bridgewater as our backup. He’s more than capable of running a top-drawer attack with sufficient power-running balance. Though being outstatted, Saints are 2-1, used to producing under pressure, enjoy home field, and will be stoked to impress. Dallas’ staff adjustments have sharpened capable offense, but Saints’ price right. New Orleans puts on another party, for one unit.

Los Angeles Chargers/MIAMI DOLPHINS (Under 44¹/₂): Cat isn’t interested in mucking with this huge spread, but don’t expect overmatched Miami to push tempo here, and the relatively conservative Chargers are unlikely to perform at their peak when saddled with the equivalent of a 10 a.m. Pacific start time. Melvin Gordon is back in fold for the Bolts but won’t play this week. Go low, for one unit.

Last week: 1-0-1. Ravens (W). Broncos/Packers under 43 (P).
Season: 3-2-1.
