A mother in Nashville was reportedly arrested Monday morning for helping her daughter attack a classmate at a school bus stop.
Kalina Gaines, 30, was charged with assault for punching and kicking the young victim in the face about 8:30 a.m., according to arrest affidavit obtained by The Nashville Tennessean.
The mother reportedly initiated the assault on the victim in response to a fight between the two students on Friday. It’s unclear what the previous squabble was about.
Gaines was also recorded by students on the bus holding down the victim as her daughter unleashed her attack, the report said.
The mother is out on $7,500 bond and is due back in court next month.
