It’s the next big thong.
Stripper wannabes inspired by Jennifer Lopez’s new hit flick “Hustlers” are flocking to Queens to take up careers in taking it off.
Since the movie’s Sept. 13 release, applications at Show Palace — the Long Island City jiggle joint featured in the film — have more than doubled, the manager told The Post.
“We always get like four or five a day, but it’s probably at about 10 a day since ‘Hustlers,’ ” marveled Gus Drakopoulos. “The girls that came in this week were like, ‘I just saw ‘Hustler.’ I want to have my J.Lo moment.’ ”
Even club waitresses are suddenly eager to bare it, noted Drakopoulos, who has a cameo in the film.
“I heard one waitress say the other day, ‘You know what? I think I’m going to become a dancer,’ ” he recalled.
Ashley Neal, a Miami-based performer who played Georgia in the flick, said she’s been bombarded with messages from “baby strippers” angling to get their stiletto in the door.
“You’ve inspired me so much to start dancing since I’ve seen Hustlers,” one woman wrote to Neal on Instagram. “I don’t know anyone yet or any moves. Any advise[sic]?”
Neal, 20, replied, “All you have to do is be confident in your body, willing to learn and hustle.”
“Hustlers” is also changing the joint’s male-female ratio.
“More women are starting to come to the club,” said a dancer who goes by the stage name Calderon.
Show Palace performers were offered extra slots in the production, according to Drakopoulos, who said dancers love the movie because it “shed a positive light” on their profession.
“They’re somebody’s daughter, wife or mother who are trying to make it through school and pay their tuition and live in NYC. Some are single mothers or trying to take care of their elderly parents,” he said.
The club is offering free admission with a movie ticket stub, and now calls amateur night “Hustler Thursdays.”
It’s also hosting a Halloween lookalike contest inspired by Lopez’s character, Ramona.
“We will give any girl who has ever dreamt about becoming an exotic dancer an opportunity,” Drakopoulos said.
