This Titans-Jaguars mess was not able to hold Tom Brady’s attention.
The Patriots legend was dutifully tuning into the Thursday night game in rainy Jacksonville, but got fed up at the end of the first half with the never-ending parade of penalties.
“I’m turning off this game I can’t watch these ridiculous penalties anymore,” Brady tweeted.
Joe Buck read the tweet out during the NFL Network broadcast as he and analyst Troy Aikman shared the frustration.
“When he makes a statement like that it should get somebody’s attention. I agree, this is ridiculous,” Aikman said.
There were 10 accepted penalties in the first half of the game, which the Jaguars were leading 14-0 at the time.
“Come back, Tom Brady,” Buck implored as the second quarter ended.
