This pup’s ‘Chucky’ is the best dog Halloween costume ever

The internet is falling in love with Romeo.

Fresh off the heels of a critically acclaimed reboot of the cult “Child’s Play” horror flick franchise, a new viral video is putting Chucky back on the pop culture map.

Romeo, a French bulldog, is racking up millions of views with this clip of him dressed up as cinema’s most infamous homicidal doll come to life.

Vanessa Cheng of Hong Kong was gearing up for the Halloween season when she decided to dress up her innocent pup as cinema’s iconic serial killer. 

“I’m not a huge horror movie fan — but I just thought Romeo’s eyes matched the outfit,” Cheng said.

With a ginger fright wig, striped T-shirt and a (don’t worry) foam butcher’s knife, the 11-month-old pooch is pictured charging Cheng’s camera — almost as if he’s stalking his next victim.

The video — originally posted on Romeo’s Instagram and ripped off countless times on Twitter — is warming the hearts of people with warped senses of humor.

“I’m in the middle of a depressive low right now and this just gave me a much needed laugh,” commented one Twitter user.

But as the Twitterverse goes, not everyone is into it: “I think this is the cruelest thing I have ever seen done to a defenseless animal,” one outraged tweeter griped.
