Man threatens to eat Harvard professor ‘piece by piece’ over abortion stance

A Massachusetts man sent a slew of graphic emails to a Harvard University professor — including one where he threatened to eat the teacher alive over his pro-abortion stance, federal authorities said.

Matthew Haviland, 29, admitted Tuesday that he sent the professor more than two dozens disturbing missives in March — including one that said: “I will rip every limb from your body and eat it, piece by piece.”

“I will bite through your eyeballs while you’re still alive, and I will laugh while you scream,” Haviland wrote, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the district of Massachusetts.

In two more graphic emails, Haviland said that the pro-abortion prof would be “held accountable for ever f–ing baby you murdered through your horrible deception of they are not humans.”

“You will have your face ripped off and eaten by me, personally,” Haviland wrote. “I will enjoy raping your body after you’re dead. And that will only be the start.”

The professor wasn’t publicly identified, but CBS Boston reported that he works at the Ivy league school in Cambridge.

Later in March, Haviland also sent several emails to Harvard, including one that said: “You people are Evil, putrid, and somebody shoudl [sic] BOMB your school for spreading the idea that it’s okay to HATE people because of their race.”

“You should be Murdered in cold blood,” another missive said.

Haviland, of Rhode Island, pleaded guilty to one count of stalking and two counts of transmitting a threat in interstate commerce.

He faces up to five years in prison, three years of supervision and a fine of up to $250,000 at his sentencing Dec. 10.
