Giancarlo Stanton is back in action in more ways than one.
The Yankees outfielder, 29, who returned to the lineup Wednesday night after a nearly three-month absence, also made a recent cameo appearance on model Chase Carter’s Instagram story, as captured by SportsGossip.com.
“The old kick it trick @giancarlo818,” Carter captioned the shot, which showed Stanton smiling.
First linked last year, Stanton has kept his rumored romance with Sports Illustrated stunner Carter, 22, mostly under wraps.
In November, Carter penned a special birthday message to Stanton on social media, months after the duo were spotted vacationing in the Bahamas.
“Thanks for not pushing me in even though I know you wanted to. Happy happy birthday @giancarlo818,” Carter wrote at the time.
Stanton and Carter were later photographed together in March while celebrating the MLB star’s DuJour cover at TAO Downtown in New York.
Perhaps Carter will continue to be Stanton’s — and the Yankees’ — good luck charm come the postseason.
