Georgia substitute teacher fired for labeling kids ‘devils’: report

A substitute teacher in Georgia was fired for penning two lists slamming some kids as “devils” and praising some as “angels,” according to a report.

An Awtrey Middle School student photographed the missive — which was spread on social media by parents, according to CBS46.

“The names of black and white students appeared in both columns,” a Cobb County School District spokesperson said in a statement to the outlet. “The District doesn’t tolerate any adult we employ making comments which are disrespectful in any way.”

Parents expressed fury and sadness on Facebook.

“And please, if you’re reading this … don’t say how you’re sorry this happened to my son who is a straight-A student, comes from a two-parent household and flies planes in his spare time,” a parent wrote.

“Instead, think about how you can remove your unconscious bias and racist motives before you step out of your home and engage with anyone who doesn’t look like you.”

The Post has reached out to the Cobb County School District but has not received a response.
