Another Diamond District jewelry shop was robbed: cops

A man swiped a diamond watch worth $43,000 from a Midtown jewelry store Thursday, police said.

The thief was browsing at the jewelry shop Flawless on West 47th Street near Sixth Avenue at about 1 p.m. when the heist occurred, officials said.

“A guy came in and asked to see watches,” store owner Eddy Rubin told the Post. “He was looking at two Rolexes. Then he grabbed a $43,000 diamond Rolex watch and ran out.”

The brazen bandit ran off with the expensive timepiece without saying a word, Rubin said.

Police said they are investigating the incident as a grand larceny.

The theft comes on the heels of a $4 million jewelry heist at a neighboring Diamond District store.
