The “House Party” remake for New Line Cinema marks the first big-screen feature for Calmatic, who helped Lil Nas X reach mega stardom with a music video for “Old Town Road.” The video for the catchy tune has over 408 million views on YouTube and broke several Billboard records.

The reboot is packed with star power. It will also be produced by LeBron James along with his partner Maverick Carter for SpringHill Entertainment.

Calmatic is set to keep “the hip-hop roots for the new House Party” intact, since he’s collaborated with hip-hop artists like Khalid and Anderson Paak in the past, reports THR.

The original “House Party” follows rap-duo Kid ‘n Play (Reid and Martin, respectively) as they throw the ultimate shindig while Play’s parents are out of town. The 1990 cult movie drew plenty of critical praise and even spawned two sequels.
