A man was in critical but stable condition at Bellevue Hospital early Sunday after a seven-story fall from a roof during a party in Chelsea, sources said.
The man, whose name was not immediately released, plummeted off the roof and down a shaft behind 124 West 25th St. at around 11 p.m.
The victim was intoxicated and fell, a police spokeswoman said. He was in stable condition, she confirmed.
He suffered massive head trauma from the fall, according to official sources at the scene.
A small crowd of fellow party-goers were being questioned about the fall by police early Sunday; one told The Post that eyewitnesses were left “scared and upset” by the tragedy.
