Owner of apartment where dead man found hog-tied in custody

The owner of the apartment where police found a dead man hog-tied with slashes to his chest and wrists is in police custody, cops said Saturday.

The man’s body was found in an apartment on Creston Avenue near Field Place in Fordham Heights Friday night after a resident of the building smelled a foul odor and tipped off police, authorities said.

Cops found the decomposing man with his legs tied to his torso and slashes to his chest and wrists, according to police.

Investigators are questioning the owner of the apartment, who was in custody at the 46th precinct station house Saturday.

No arrests have been made.
