9/11 widow pleads for return of stolen wedding ring

Monica Iken, a 9/11 widow, is pleading for the return of her stolen diamond ring and two bands — which included gems from the wedding band from her late husband Michael.

The rings were even blessed by the Pope during his visit to Ground Zero in 2015.

“I’m emotional already with 9/11 approaching. I’ve been praying to God and Michael about helping me find this ring,” a distraught Iken told The Post.

Pope rings
Monica’s missing rings were blessed by the Pope in a visit.

She has tweeted photos of the missing $22,000 ring and bands, which vanished after she placed them on a nightstand in a co-worker’s rented house in Westhampton, where she spent the night on Aug. 13.

She used gems from her wedding band from Michael Iken, a bond trader killed on 9/11, on a new ring when she married FDNY firefighter Robert Murphy in 2006. This is the missing diamond ring that is considered stolen by police.

Iken is offering a $500 reward for the ring’s return. Contact Ray at (347) 742-0431.
