Feds use armored vehicle in raid on house linked to Texas shooter Seth Ator

Federal agents wearing tactical gear used an armored vehicle to bust into a property linked to Texas mass shooter Seth Ator, according to a report.

A mass of agents from the FBI, ATF and DEA descended Sunday on a ramshackle house in West Odessa where Ator’s gold Toyota SUV was registered, according to NewsWest 9.

They used a loudspeaker to demand that anyone inside the home come out with their hands up, the station reported.

The armored vehicle with a long battering ram finally helped agents force their way into the property, with a police bomb squad robot used as part of the search.

Agents did not reveal what they were expecting to find in the heavy-handed search but warned locals to expect lots of police activity with search warrants being executed in the next few days, the station said.

A neighbor there has said she reported Ator to police after he threatened her with a rifle for leaving trash near his property, claiming he would also sit on top of his home and shoot animals at night.

Police never responded then because they could not find the house on GPS, the woman told NewsWest 9.

He killed seven and injured 22 Saturday in a rampage following a routine traffic stop, shooting indiscriminately during a lengthy police chase just hours after he got fired from work.
