Meet the newest Staten Island ferry — on land.
Flash flooding was apparently so bad on Staten Island on Wednesday afternoon that water seeped through the doors of an MTA bus, engulfing the floor while desperate riders struggled to keep their feet about water.
Video posted on Twitter by user @naturenearyou shows the deluge, with some riders nonchalantly ignoring it and others standing on chairs to keep dry. The flooding occurred on Richmond Terrace, according to the tweet.
A source told The Post that the bus driver reported flooding but the bus was able to move through the area without problem.
“Some water did enter the bus,” the source said.
MTA spokesman Shams Tarek said the incident was “a graphic example of the challenges our bus operators face on the road day in and day out as they work hard to get millions of New Yorkers to their destinations safely and expeditiously.”
