NYPD offers up to $10K for tips leading to arrest of Brooklyn block party shooter

As much as $10,000 is being offered to anyone with information related to the Brooklyn block party shooting that left one person dead and 11 injured, police announced Wednesday.

NYPD CrimeStoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment and up to $7,500 leading to the conviction of the shooter or shooters responsible for Saturday night’s attack at the Old Timer’s Day block party in Brownsville.

Gunfire erupted around 10:50 p.m. on the second day of the event in Mendoza Park, killing 38-year-old Jason Pagan, a parolee and Bloods gang member, and wounding nearly a dozen others between the ages of 21 and 55, cops said.

Police officials on Monday said several of the injured also had gang ties. Authorities were probing whether the shots rang out as the result of an alcohol-fueled gang fight, sources said previously.

Law enforcement sources previously told The Post they believed there were at least two shooters involved. Investigators found two types of shell casings at the scene but have only recovered one gun.
