Drunk driver busted when cops find gas pump nozzle attached to Range Rover

What a Masshole!

A woman was busted in Massachusetts for drunk driving after cops found her driving with a gas pump nozzle attached to her Range Rover, police said Wednesday.

“Drunk drivers always think they can drive fine,” police in Wilmington posted on Facebook Tuesday. “In addition to her inability to stay in her own traffic lane, there was something else about her vehicle [that] caught other motorists’ attention.”

Authorities in Middlesex County identified the woman as Alicia Esquilin, 24, of Hudson, New Hampshire, the Boston Globe reports. She was arraigned Monday on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operations of a motor vehicle and an open container violation, according to the newspaper.

Police told Boston.com that the gas nozzle was later returned to its “rightful owner,” an AL Prime Energy gas station in Woburn — about six miles away.

Esquilin, who could not be reached for comment, is expected back in court on Oct. 16, the Globe reports.
