Who to bet at the Wyndham with PGA Tour cards on the line

There will be plenty of drama at this weekend’s Wyndham Championship, the final chance for players to secure their spots in the top 125 in FedExCup points, which puts them in the playoffs and secures their tour cards for next year.

I believe many of these bubble players will show up and perform admirably but am banking on a more established player to win the tournament at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Here are three players who are worth a wager:

The Plays

Lucas Glover (40/1): Glover is playing the best golf of his life this season, and that could translate into a win versus a more diluted field. He has played this course 10 years straight and five times has finished top 25.

Patrick Reed (18/1): Reed won this event in 2013 and has two top 25s in two tries since. His game has been rounding into form after a rough start to the season.

Scott Piercy (60/1): Piercy finished third in the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town, an indicator course for crossover success, and has six top-10 finishes in 2019.
