All that’s left is for Kevin Durant to sign the dotted line.
“The Boardroom,” Durant’s business TV show on ESPN, posted a social media video confirming Durant will sign a max contract with the Nets once the free-agent moratorium ends July 6.
The terms of the contract were not included in the statement, though ESPN reported it’s a four-year deal worth $164-million. The 30-year-old, who will be joined by fellow star Kyrie Irving, will likely miss all of next season after suffering a torn Achilles during the NBA Finals.
The video featured music from The Notorious B.I.G. in the background. The Nets paid tribute to the late New York rapper last season.
