The desperate search for a missing Connecticut mom of five expanded to New York on Friday — as investigators also waded through a pond near her home in New Canaan and searched a park in Hartford.
A week after Jennifer Dulos disappeared, cops spread their search across state lines to a house in Pound Ridge in Westchester County owned by her parents — while Connecticut state police began scouring the Upper Albany area of Hartford on Friday afternoon, according to the Hartford Courant.
The Hartford location is outside Farmington, where Dulos’ estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, lives.
In New Canaan, where Jennifer lives, police carefully searched through a shallow pond and handed out missing-person fliers to passersby.
The 50-year-old mom’s 2017 black Chevy Suburban was found near there March 24 — the day she vanished amid a bitter divorce from her 51-year-old husband.
After blood reportedly was found in her New Canaan home last weekend, police began treating her disappearance as a homicide.
But Friday, her family released a statement saying they “remain hopeful” she’ll be found alive.
The kids have been staying with Jennifer’s mother in Manhattan. Sources had told The Post that Fotis tried to visit them but was turned away by a security guard.
Jennifer was engaged in a hostile divorce battle with Fotis, alleging he had a girlfriend and was trying to skirt child support, according to court papers.
On Friday, NBC News reported that Jennifer’s mom, Gloria Farber, last year filed a complaint claiming Fotis owed her $1 million from a 2004 loan.
He has not been charged or named as a suspect in Jennifer’s disappearance.
