The estranged husband of missing Connecticut mom Jennifer Dulos allegedly owed his mother-in-law $1 million, according to a new report.
Dulos’ mother, Gloria Farber, last year filed a complaint claiming her son-in-law, Fotis Dulos, had only repaid $500,000 of the $1.5 million she and her late husband loaned him for a business and that he still owed her the rest, NBC News reports.
Jennifer Dulos, 50, of New Canaan had sued Fotis for divorce nearly two years ago, alleging he was a cheater who had been gallivanting around Europe with his girlfriend while complaining he couldn’t afford child support.
Jennifer’s disappearance is now being probed as a homicide after traces of blood were found by authorities searching her home.
Her family has said she would “never, ever, disappear” and leave the five kids she has with Fotis.
A lawyer for Fotis, 51, this week told a judge that a nanny had taken their children — three boys and two girls, ages 8 to 13 — to his mother-in-law’s New York City apartment when his wife disappeared last Friday amid their bitter divorce.
