DJ Khaled is on the hunt for a Manhattan crash pad

As DJ Khaled paid tribute to slain rapper Nipsey Hussle on SNL’s season finale last week and performed at Pier 17, he was also looking at short-term rentals around town.

As in his house hunts of past years, Gimme Shelter couldn’t help but notice the spots he showed interest in were once home to top folks in his industry.

One option he recently considered was an off-market $12 million apartment at 30 Crosby St., a building where Lenny Kravitz and Alicia Keys once lived (though not together). Another potential pad — but not on the market as a rental — is a five-bedroom on the seventh floor of 114 Liberty St. asking $6.99 million.

That’s the same World Trade Center-adjacent building where Russell Simmons is trying to sell his 7,175-square-foot penthouse — and just slashed another $2 million off its asking price. (Simmons’ unit is now on the market for $6.75 million — down from its original asking price of $11 million in 2012.)

Meanwhile, the full-floor, seventh-story pad Khaled eyed is 5,400 square feet and comes with five bedrooms, a corner library, a windowed media room and a gym. There are 12-foot ceilings, iron columns and barrel-vaulted ceilings.

The listing brokers are Nest Seekers International’s Jessica Campbell and Ryan Serhant.
