Giants will have these players on their radar at NFL Combine

Three players the Giants will have their eyes on at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis:

Dwayne Haskins, QB Ohio State

Haskins started only one year in college, but what a season it was — with a Big Ten-record 50 touchdown passes. He got better as the season advanced and has a sterling reputation off the field. He has been likened by some to Ben Roethlisberger in terms of arm strength and a big body that defenders seem to slide off when attempting to tackle him. He is not the most mobile guy out there.

Devin White, LB, LSU

What’s that you say? The Giants don’t take linebackers in the first round? Well, this guy might change their way of thinking. White is a true sideline-to-sideline terror, and he can use his speed and range to drop into coverage as well. He would add instant playmaking ability to a defense that needs plenty of it.

Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

If he is selected, meet your opening day starter at right tackle. Williams is a three-year college starter at a powerhouse program and a tough, no-nonsense player with great balance but not ideal arm length. He reputedly has excellent technique, making him the anti-Ereck Flowers of offensive tackles.
