Girl Scout uses Jason Momoa’s ripped torso to sell cookies

Swole for sale! A Girl Scout in Colorado has a sweet treat for her customers.

Charlotte Holmberg, a sales-savvy fifth-grader, has rebranded her stock of Samoas — the delectably gooey chocolate-caramel-coconut cookies — as “Momoas,” in honor of actor Jason Momoa.

The tween from Highlands Ranch has even given the standard-issue purple box an attention-grabbing makeover, by printing out a photo featuring the handsome “Aquaman” star’s ripped torso and pasting it onto the side.

Charlotte, whose mom works in marketing, was inspired by a Twitter meme that shows a shirtless Momoa perched atop a giant Samoa cookie.

The guy who claims to have created the viral image, Matt Hayduke, says he fully supports Holmberg: “I’m glad to see the idea inspiring others to help Girl Scouts!” he wrote on Girl Scouts of Colorado’s Facebook page, adding that his daughter is a scout, too.

Even before she came up with this year’s surprising sales tactic, Charlotte was quite a successful cookie peddler, selling 2,000 boxes last year and earning Top Cookie CEO status, according to Denver news station KUSA.

Now she shows no signs of slowing down. “The moms are getting really excited and they’re saying that they need them,” the mini-marketing maven said in an interview.

No word yet from the Momoa and Marvel Comics camps about whether they are equally excited about this unauthorized use of copyrighted images.
