Officials announce bust of Brooklyn drug delivery service

A big chunk of southeast Brooklyn just lost its dial-up drug dealer.

City narcotics prosecutors on Thursday announced the takedown of a highly organized drug delivery service they say ferried $8,000 in drugs per day to folks in Midwood, Sheepshead Bay, Marine Park and Mill Basin.

In all, 14 alleged traffickers have been busted, charged with allegedly masterminding the business, dispatching the customers’ orders or delivering the drugs, officials said. Among those charged were “kingpins” William “Blanco” Barrous, 27, and Emmanuel Batista, 28, both of Queens, cops said.

Cops recovered more than $2 million in heroin, fentanyl and cocaine, and $800,000 in cash along with guns, drugs and jewelry when they raided the operation’s Queens stash house in an apartment at 71-59 160th St.

Customers would order heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and prescription pills by calling an ever-changing cellphone number, and then would meet their dealer on the street, according to Bridget G. Brennan, the city’s Special Narcotics Prosecutor, and NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill.

Undercovers made more than 50 purchases between Feb. 10, 2017, and Nov. 30, 2018, officials said.

The DA’s offices in Queens and Brooklyn joined in the investigation.
