Homeless dad arrested in alleged abduction of his 2-year-old daughter

Police busted a homeless man who they say abducted his 2-year-old autistic daughter from her foster home in the Bronx.

Christian Benitez, 21, was arrested around 6 p.m. Wednesday for allegedly grabbing Seniya Benitez from the Gleason Avenue home Tuesday night — sparking a citywide Amber alert.

He had gotten into an argument with the foster family over the state of their apartment, cops said.

Investigating cops found both Benitez and his daughter in another Bronx apartment Wednesday afternoon.

Benitez is allowed to have supervised visits with his daughter, but is not cleared to remove her from the foster home, police sources said.

He was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and custodial interference, police said.
