Sicko indicted on more than 17,700 counts of child porn: DA

A Queens man has been hit with a whopping 17,725-count indictment for allegedly downloading thousands of sick images and videos of babies and kids being sexually abused, the Queens district attorney announced Monday.

Vishal Lalbeharry, 30, of Jamaica was arraigned Monday afternoon on charges including promoting a sexual performance by a child, possessing a sexual performance by a child and 16 counts of sexual misconduct — because he also allegedly had 16 videos of himself having sex with a dog, DA Richard Brown said.

“The images accumulated by this defendant allegedly contained some of the most horrific ways imaginable to sexually abuse a child — even babies were defiled,” Brown said in a statement.

“I can not stress it enough, pictures and videos of children being sexually abused is, for all intents and purposes, crime scene images. The children are real people and they must live with the scars on their bodies as well as in their memories forever.”

Lalbeharry’s arrest stems from a March police investigation into IP addresses sharing child sexual abuse images, which found his computer’s address had allegedly downloaded more than a thousand twisted images of kids, including babies being “penetrated” by adult men, Brown said.

Cops seized four computer laptops, four cellphones and five hard drives from his room, on which they allegedly found thousands more images of kids — none older than 10 years old — being abused, as well as the videos of Lalbeharry with the dog.

Lalbeharry allegedly told police that no one else uses his computer but claimed “while I was downloading regular porn, some images of child pornography were in the files … I have seen this by mistake,” according to Brown.

He will return to court on April 22. If convicted, he faces up to seven years behind bars.
