Burglars wanted after trying to hit three restaurants in one night

They had a midnight sack.

A pair of restaurant robbers went on a burglary binge in the wee hours of Sunday, police sources said.

The twosome had no reservations about kicking in the glass front door and marching into Wolfgang’s Steakhouse on Park Avenue and E. 34th Street around 4:30 a.m. Sunday — then dashing off with a wad of dough and several bottles of wine and liquor, sources said.

Less than 30 minutes later, they bashed in the glass facade of nearby Osamil Restaurant on W. 34th Street, but an employee warded them off and even chased them to the subway before losing track of the thieves, according to sources.

Then, at 5:27 a.m., they jimmied their way into Ray pizza on 7th Avenue near 54th Street and swiped two cash registers, sources added.

A worker at the steakhouse said nothing was taken but the thieves broke some booze bottles in the act.

“They tried to break into the registers to try to open them but there was nothing there,” said manager Jeff Gutic. “I told the guys to keep the register open now because they will see nothing is there.”

The pair were described as men in their 20s last seen wearing dark clothes.
