With “great vengeance and furious anger,” “Pulp Fiction” actor Samuel L. Jackson endorsed newly minted Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s remark that she was going to Washington to impeach the “motherf–ker.”
“@RashidaTlaib I just wanna Wholeheartedly endorse your use of & clarity of purpose when declaring your Motherf—ing goal last week,” Jackson posted on his Twitter page late Sunday. “Calling that Muthaf–kah a Motherf–ker is not an issue, calling that Muthaf—ah President is !!!#motherf—eristoogoodtowasteonthatcankersore.”
Jackson, who was nominated for an Oscar for playing a hitman in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 film, is no stranger to the expletive-deleted in his many movie roles.
Tlaib, hours after being sworn in last week as Michigan’s newest Democratic representative, spoke to a crowd of supporters at an event sponsored by the group MoveOn after her election victory.
“And when your son looks at you and says, ‘Mama, look, you won. Bullies don’t win,’ and I said, ‘Baby, they don’t,’ because we’re gonna go in there and we’re going to impeach the motherf—er,” she said.
Critics blasted her use of the profanity, and Trump called her comments “disgraceful.”
But Tlaib seemed unfazed.
“I will always speak truth to power. #unapologeticallyMe,” she wrote on Twitter last Friday.
