Le’Veon Bell eyeing an AFC team, but it’s not the Jets

Running back Le’Veon Bell reportedly is eyeing the Colts for future employment.

Bell, who skipped the 2018 season in a contract dispute with the Steelers, will become a free agent in March, and a report by SNY said a source close to the three-time Pro Bowl selection indicated he is interested in Indianapolis because of quarterback Andrew Luck and the Colts’ salary-cap space.

The Jets are also on his radar, but the Colts, expected to have more than $130 million in salary-cap room according to Spotrac, are at the “top of his list,” according to the source.

“He has his eyes on the Colts, no doubt about that,” the source said. “He sees Luck and that offense and all that cap room and they’re much closer than the Jets. He wants to go someplace he can win right away.”
