Fruitcake you will actually want to eat, plus other holiday treats

Santa shouldn’t be the only one who gets to enjoy a late-night snack. Before your New Year’s resolution to eat healthier kicks in, give yourself the gift of sweets. Don’t worry, good ol’ St. Nick told The Post you made the nice list this year — so go ahead, treat yourself.

1. Yule love it

The Bûche de Noël, aka Yule-log cake, is a formidable dessert with its spiraling layers of cake and mousse covered in a thick layer of ganache. These handy miniatures — in triple dark chocolate or coffee-hazelnut — are both elaborate and adorable. $6.95 to $48 at Bouchon Bakery, locations at Rockefeller Center and Columbus Circle; ThomasKeller.com

2. Cookie threesomes

Have a happy Roman holiday with Italian cookies from Roman-style bakery and pizzeria Leonelli Focacceria at the Evelyn Hotel. Chef Lindsey Bittner’s to-go tin includes three each of butter, brownie, Italian wedding, sesame seed, hazelnut, tricolore, fig, anisette and almond cookies. $35 at Leonelli Focacceria e Pasticceria, 7 E. 27th St.; LeonelliBakery.com

3. Two-toned croissants

Known for its eye-catching, colorful croissants, in-vogue viennoiserie Supermoon Bakehouse, led by chef Ry Stephen, offers a green and red two-tone croissant stuffed with a white chocolate peppermint ganache and house-made raspberry jam, adorned with colorful shards of white chocolate. $5.50 at Supermoon Bakehouse, 120 Rivington St.; SupermoonBakehouse.com

4. Cute cupcakes

These crowd-pleasing cupcakes with holiday icing designs may not be the most ostentatious item on the dessert table, but they’re easily the cutest. Try them in any combination of classic vanilla or chocolate cake with chocolate, eggnog or peppermint buttercream. $3 at Baked, locations in Tribeca and Red Hook; BakedNYC.com

5. Babka pie

Babka is a traditionally Jewish dessert (and the star of a memorable “Seinfeld” episode), but the holiday-season favorite should be a welcomed addition to any dessert spread. This swirling Nutella-and-chocolate babka stunner has been re-imagined in pie form — no fork or plate required. $39 at Breads Bakery, multiple locations throughout Manhattan; BreadsBakery.com

6. Buzzy fruitcake

The oft-mocked fruitcake gets a shabby-chic update at Burrow in Dumbo, where Japanese pastry artist (and we do mean artist) Ayako Kurokawa creates wondrous and whimsical works of confection. Her 5-inch fruitcake consists of seasonal dried fruits and nuts, and a generous splash of rum. $32 at Burrow, 68 Jay St #119, Brooklyn; Burrow.nyc

7. Not just round

Baker Mark Isreal reinvents the (doughnut) wheel with his holiday-shapes treats at Doughnut Plant. Made with custom cutters, the Marzipan Star, Coconut Snowman, chocolate-mint Christmas Tree and Gingerdough Man are a-dough-rable. $18 per box at Doughnut Plant, multiple locations throughout NYC; DoughnutPlant.com
