Why the Rams’ loaded roster still won’t be enough to cover

The Wildcat returns for his 22nd season in The Post. Including the 1997-2017 seasons in the Bettor’s Guide, Cat’s record in print stands at 595-498 (54.4 percent) against the spread.

Monday

Chiefs (+3¹/₂) over RAMS: Yes, Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes is up against the more-experienced Jared Goff, but what a talent! Since September — and excepting the game at San Francisco, where the Niners were outclassed — the Rams haven’t won going away. It took the Patriots, at Gillette, to deal this visitor its lone “L” of the season. Cat will grab field-goal-plus number, with gusto. Sure, Rams’ roster is loaded, but they’re beyond fully-priced, here. Chiefs take best shot, for one unit.

Saturday

Syracuse (+10 ½) over Notre Dame (Yankee Stadium): Irish will be wearing pinstriped sleeves and pants for this Subway Alumni attraction. Expect Ian Book will be healthy to quarterback the favorite. Despite operating in Syracuse’s home state, Notre Dame will have crowd on its side, but Irish have been grossly over-bet all season, and both Clemson and Pitt were life-and-death to beat the Orange. ’Cuse keeps pressure on with marked special-teams edge, and makes game of this, for one unit.

Last Week:
0-2. Season: 10-12.
