Rutgers player was recorded discussing murder plot with pal: cops

The ex-Rutgers football player accused of a double-murder plot attempted to recruit a pal to be his getaway driver — but instead the friend recorded the conversation and called the cops, it was revealed on Wednesday.

The recording of Izaia Bullock discussing the murder plot was obtained by police who then searched his car, where they found pills, gloves, a mask and crushed-up pills, according to an affidavit obtained by MyCentralJersey.com

The items were allegedly intended to be part of the plot.

The 22-year-old junior linebacker was charged Tuesday with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder for allegedly planning to kill two members of a friend’s family.

He was dismissed from the Scarlet Knights football squad the day of his arrest.

Bullock came clean about the murderous scheme to Rutgers Police, according to the affidavit.

The New Jersey native had been distraught over a recent breakup and had seemingly threatened his ex-girlfriend’s family, some of his teammates told NJ.com.

The intended victims weren’t affiliated with the university and weren’t harmed, officials said.
