The FDNY’s former pension boss took a plea deal Friday for drunkenly crashing his government car in Midtown last May.
Stephen Cassidy — who lost his job after the embarrassing collision — copped to driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to a $1,500 fine in Manhattan Criminal Court.
As part of the deal, the 62-year-old former firefighter can’t drive for one year and must complete a DWI-education program.
Cassidy’s blood-alcohol level was over four times the legal limit when he lost control of his Toyota Prius on May 8 and barreled into a dumpster near West 30th Street.
He was the longtime president of the Uniformed Firefighters Association and in 2016 became executive director of the city’s Fire Pension Fund.
