Two dopes who apparently thought they were camping at Burning Man instead of riding the subway in the Bronx pitched a tent inside a crowded train– and began “smoking drugs,” stunned eyewitnesses said.
The man and woman boarded a southbound #2 train at 233rd Street at around 4:45 p.m. Friday, carrying a large green and blue tent, according to one straphanger, who tweeted that they “smelled like drugs as soon as they got on the train.”
“Next thing you know they plopped the tent up at Pelham Parkway station. Then begin to smoke some sort of a drug,” the person said.
Cops arrived, but no crime was observed, the NYPD said Saturday.
The MTA did not immediately return a request for comment.
