David Yurman takes a loss on ‘Working Girl’ townhouse

Jewelry designer to the stars David Yurman has sold his West Village townhouse — which was also featured in the iconic 1988 movie “Working Girl” — for $15.5 million, according to records filed with the city Tuesday.

That purchase price marks a loss for Yurman, who coughed up $17 million in 2015 for the five-bedroom, 5,834-square-foot residence, records show. That was some $3 million over its asking price at the time.

The identity of the buyer was not immediately available.

The home at 66 Morton St., which looks beautifully decorated in listing photos, was the fictional pad of Harrison Ford’s character, Jack Trainer, in “Working Girl.” It’s where Ford drags a drunk, passed-out Tess McGill (Melanie Griffith) back to sleep, and the home where the two — who later become lovers — eat breakfast together before Griffith’s character heads to her first day at her dream job.

Only the townhouse’s interiors were filmed for the movie. Beyond “Working Girl,” the pad made appearances in other films, like “The Night We Never Met” and “Autumn in New York.”

The property is 25 feet wide and comes with ceilings more than 12 feet high on the parlor floor, and nearly 15 feet high on the top level. Outside, there’s a garden measuring about 1,130 square feet.

However, the listing notes the home is in need of a total renovation.

Paula Del Nunzio of Brown Harris Stevens had the listing.
