‘Taxi King’ behind bars after not paying $100K in child support

Fallen “Taxi King” Gene Freidman is now behind bars — for failing to pay over $100,000 in child support.

“Inessa please don’t do this,” the former medallion mogul begged his baby mama, Inessa Boltyanskaya, in Manhattan Family Court Friday as four officers led him away in handcuffs.

“Your honor, I’ve never seen this before. I would have brought a checkbook,” Freidman pleaded with Justice Maria Arias.

“Your honor you can’t do this,” he whined.

“I am going to do this,” the judge said.

Freidman faces up to six months in jail if he doesn’t pay the support for the ex-couple’s 14-year-old son. He also has a young daughter with his ex-wife Sandra Freidman.

Boltyanskaya and her attorney Judith White declined to comment.

The Taxi and Limousine Commission stripped Freidman of 800 taxi medallions last year shortly before he was arrested for tax fraud.

He pleaded guilty in May to dodging $50,000 worth of taxes related to his medallion business as part of a deal that could lead to him cooperating against President Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. Freidman has called Cohen a “dear dear personal friend and passive client.”
