Content chief latest executive to depart Univision

Another top exec is departing Univision, the embattled Spanish-language TV broadcaster.

Chief Content Officer Isaac Lee is leaving the company after eight years, the company said on Tuesday.

Lee’s exit comes on the heels of a rocky year for Univision, in which the company tore up its plans to go public, replaced Chief Executive Randy Falco, cut close to 200 employees and put its digital properties, The Gizmodo Media Group and The Onion, up for sale.

Lee was a chief architect of Fusion Media Group, which comprised digital sites and a TV station. The money-losing venture targeted English-speaking millennials and was perhaps best known for throwing big-dollar salaries at journalists — many of whom have exited as the company began cutting costs.

Lee, in a memo to staffers on Tuesday, said he supports new CEO Vincent Sadusky — whose mission is to grow Univision.

Sadusky “understands what the company needs to compete successfully at a time of major disruption in the market place,” Lee wrote in the memo, a copy of which was obtained by The Post.
